Happy Monday, guys! The weekend always goes by too fast, doesn’t it? 
I stumbled across this quote again over the weekend and for whatever reason, I keep coming back to it and wanted to share it here.
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.“
Starting all over again hasn’t been easy, but 2017 has already brought about immense growth. I’ve had to let go of the things (and the people) I can’t control, which is no easy feat for this Type A. I can honestly say I’ve learned more about myself (some good, some bad) in the last two months than I have in the entire 29 years I’ve spent on this earth. 
I told myself this is the year I am going to do things that push me outside of my comfort zone and make me feel a little uneasy. And I told myself I’m going to put the things I want most out into the universe, that I’m going to continue to wear my heart on my sleeve, and that I’m going to be open to every little thing life throws my way, no matter how uncomfortable it might make me.
So far, so good. 🙂
Anywho, all this to say that I’d love it if you joined me on Thursday, Feb 2nd from 5-7pm at the Madewell on Rush Street! I’ll be simultaneously stepping out of my comfort zone and celebrating the launch of their new spring collection (think blush pinks, stripes, suede, and amazing new denim), including this silk top and these jeans.
Oh, and sips + sweets are on them! I hope to see you there!
I’m off to seize the day (or something like that 😉 ).
