You guys have no idea how much I appreciated your support after divulging my life woes to you on Tuesday. I seriously can’t even begin to thank you enough. It’s a reassuring feeling to know that I have so many people supporting and cheering me on – so THANK YOU!
On a lighter note, I’ve been taking inventory on all of the things I have to look forward to and I decided that compiling a list and sharing them with the world might put a little pep in my step and hopefully spark you to do some pondering as well!
5 THINGS I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO RIGHT NOW:
1. Running OUTSIDE this weekend without the fear of losing any phalanges. Kansas Citians, I don’t want to jinx us, but I think we’re in the homestretch!
2. A much needed haircut with Jordan this afternoon, I think it’s time to #cleartheshoulders again.
3. My new iPhone case to come in the mail. What? It’s the little things! Not to mention the fact that I’ve been walking around without one for the past month and I swear it’s given me a few gray hairs.
4. The cruise we booked for this October (pre-situation) down in Mexico! Mas cervezas, por favor.
5. Celebrating First Fridays. It seems I have completely forgotten that such things exist during the winter months and I have reverted to my hermit ways. I’m going to kick off the season with an open house at Sarah’s new studio tomorrow night!
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO?
YAY! I am so glad that you have a trip to look forward to Jess! I love you!

Hermit Ways are the best ways when it’s sub-zero outside but I’m so excited for you to go on vaca this October! We are going on a cruise this October, too! Let’s compare notes.

I WANT TO GO ON A CRUISE. jealous jealous jealous
I cant wait until October!!! WOOOOO!!!!
I just got back from a run… it was freezing! I hope that’s the last time I have to bundle up until next winter!
My husband gets back from Air Force training in three weeks, so that’s what I’m looking forward to!

So many great things to look forward too! I can’t wait to hear all about your cruise!
You do have awesome things to look forward to, Jess! I really want to plan some sort of mini vacay to look forward to. Sarah opened her own studio?! That’s fantastic! Sounds like it will be a great weekend:) I can’t wait for warmer weather and getting outside more:)
Yes, she did! I’m so bummed, I came down with some sort of sickness (again) last night, otherwise I was going to text you to join me. Let’s hope the warmer weather comes in and pushes all this crud out of the area! 😉
SO excited for the warm weather. I’m training for a half and I’m thrilled that long run day (Sunday) will be OUTSIDE.
What half are you training for?!
Running with the Cows! And the Corporate Challenge half.
I was hoping you were going to say Rock the Parkway! I was going to do corporate again, buuuuut plans changed 😉 haha darn it.
All of those things are positive things to look forward to! Woo! I too am ready for warm weather and outdoor events. We have monthly food truck events on Fridays here in STL when Summer hits. Also, I have jewels from Hello Cheeseburger & Lily Dawson. Love both of them!
When Food Truck Friday and First Fridays land on the same day here in KC….it’s like heaven! They’re some of my favorite jewels – I love that you have them, too!
I get seriously excited about new phone cases too! The vacation sounds amazing! Good thing you have plenty of time to outfit plan! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
I’ve got my fingers crossed I’ll be running outside either Sunday or Monday! I can’t wait 🙂 I’m sure an outdoor run will make you feel better!
