Since we focus on fitness, fashion, food and fun around here at 26 and Not Counting, I decided to share my favorite blogs to read in each category.
For fitness and motivation: I’m a sucker for an amazing weight loss story, so if you’re anything like me you will love A Firework in Progress. I’m a new reader, but she has yet to disappoint.
For the fashion lover: Emily and Elizabeth are twins who run Fashion Column Twins. Not only are their outfit posts creatively orchestrated, but the clothes are actually affordable. So if you’re also like me and don’t have $400 to shell out on shoes and another $550 for the matching handbag, you’ve found the right place. I also love the fact that they come up with so many different outfit variations using the same staple piece.
For the foodie: You can probably guess what Shanley is whipping up over at Eat it Kansas City, all things edible in the KC area. Restaurants, food trucks, bakeries, you name it. Not close to Kansas City? She brings delicious recipes to the table as well. Drool-worthy pictures are included.
For lifestyle and fun: Ashley Ella Design is one of those blogs that is so aesthetically pleasing. You can tell that a great amount of precision and thought go into each post. My favorites so far have centered around her home renovations (I can’t wait to see the finished product) and posts regarding design. When Ashley isn’t teaching and working on her Master’s she is making blogs beautiful at The Blog Salon. How she does it all is a mystery to me.
