I have a little confession to make. I didn’t do anything on Saturday. Unless you count stalking Reese Witherspoon’s Instagrams and venturing from the apartment to get mozzarella sticks at 10pm, but I didn’t figure those counted. If by some slim chance these things do count as productive activities in your book, let me know so we can be best friends.
With that being said, my Sunday was very well spent. That’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy lunch and shopping with one of my best friends and the sweetest two and a half year old I know, but after that I got down to business. I’m hoping for that week of content everyone keeps talking about!
According to my social media accounts, holiday parties are in full-swing and I’ve got one last look that can take you from work to play! A ponytail is one of the chicest looks you can pull off with minimal talent in the hair styling department (hello, that’s me). I can’t help but imagine this updo paired with a pretty embellished dress and a gorgeous pair of gems dangling from both ears.
Follow along with Jordan’s easy steps to get the look below!
After blow drying, begin by curling hair in vertical sections directed away from the face and gently shake through with fingers after the hair has cooled.
Tease at the crown and sweep hair into a low pony tail, leaving loose the sections in front of the ears.
Secure with a clear hair tie and gently loosen hair at the crown for volume.
Cross each section of loose hair to the opposite side of the ponytail in back (leaving behind a few face framing pieces). Pin securely, hiding the ends beneath the ponytail.
Tighten the ponytail from the base and spray Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray into the ends while spreading the curl for a fuller shape.
Finish with Oribe Superfine Hair Spray. And if you’re wanting to get even more festive, this velvet bow would be the perfect addition!

So, SO pretty and relaxed, but still super glam. Some babes y’all are! 🙂
I had one of those super busy, productive weekends- you know the kind where you feel like you didn’t really get a break and are tempted to take Monday to nap? Yes, that. I should do nothing this weekend!
