I feel as though I blinked and the weekend was gone. And don’t even get me started on that 8+ hours of shut eye I got last night – it felt like far less. I’m pretty sure the bags under my eyes have their own bags at this point.
I guess that’s what happens when you cram your days full of all of your favorite things and people with little to no downtime in between. Of course, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
We took a tour of the Boulevard Brewery on Saturday and thanks to their flights, we taste tested just about everything. I’ve always been a Tank 7 and Pale Ale girl myself, but there’s a new (to me) brew in town and it might have won my heart over…only time will tell.
Yesterday’s floral arranging workshop far surpassed my expectations (more on that soon!) and after Meg and I put our newly acquired skills to work, we caught up over chips and dip. You could say it was a weekend well spent!
As for the threads, this is the outfit you can find me in nearly every weekend. I’ve said it before and I’ll be saying it until the end of time: this look is nothing revolutionary – it’s just what works for me. I was reminded the other day of the acronym K.I.S.S., which stands for, “keep it simple, stupid.” This is the perfect example of me keeping it simple.
I’m looking forward to another productive week, sprinkled with a few Bar Method classes, topped off with yoga on the lawn at the Nelson Atkins! Que the much-needed detox.

Madewell tee’s are the best! So jealous of yoga on the lawn, I’m hoping to go to a yoga in the park session while I’m in the city this summer!
Love the shoes and fun to see they are from Target! 🙂

Such a great look! I love the statement necklace adding a bit of punch to the outfit and those chunky heels too! xo, Biana – BlovedBoston
Cute look! Loving those heels! I’ve been really into yoga lately. I found this yoga YouTube video that I’m obsessed with so I just do it right in my living room lol. Sounds like you had a fab weekend!

Agreed! I hope your week is off to a great start, Susie!
Your weekend definitely looked like a total blast! I’m with you, though, it went by way to quickly!
I’ve been wanting to take the brewery tour for a long time, I think we’re gonna make that happen soon.

Sad story: somehow I sat in gum and they are currently in the wash. I’m crossing my fingers they aren’t ruined! haha
I know how you feel about your bags having bags! I hate starting the week off on empty, but here I am again! Love your KISS look. Adorable!

It means a lot Amy! I feel scatterbrained most days, but I’m getting there 😉 How are YOU? 🙂
I’m good thanks Jess! Settling into my new job so far, but can’t help thinking about what comes next. And fretting about keeping the blog updated! You know how it is 😉
I tried on those shoes at Target but decided I didn’t reaaaallly need another pair of sandals. But you’ve convinced me I was totally wrong. SO. CUTE.

Jeans and a grey tee is my favorite weekend outfit! it matches everything and can always be dressed up or down while still staying laid back. It really doesn’t get any better.
I agree! Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post 🙂
I’m basically wearing a version of this outfit. A++ from me 🙂
Great minds think alike 😉
FLOWER SKILLS ON FLEEK! But seriously, your arrangement was gorgeous – you may have found a new calling 😉 xx
OMG. This comment just made my morning hahaha. Seriously though… 😉

Meg is the best, isn’t she?! Thank you so much for letting me know about this!
That sounds like an amazing weekend to me! I’ve always wanted to go on a Boulevard tour and now I don’t drink beer. What new beer are you enjoying?
Their Red Lager is delish!
Any day that includes a beer flight is a good one in my book!
(And how cute is that studded bag?!)
Bedknobs & Baubles
You and me both! 😉
