This is exactly what it looks like – a hint at fall weather. But I have good reason to bring up pieces like fringe booties, sweater dresses and felt hats in the heat of July, because they’re all on major sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale right now!
No Nordstrom credit card? No problem. You can still shop the early access sale through today or come back tomorrow when the sale opens up to everyone. The trick is to sign up for the Nordstrom Debit Card (much like the Target Debit Card, if you’re familiar) which lets you shop the early access portion of the sale with a card attached directly to your checking account. Can you say, no-brainer?
I picked up this parka (so cute on!) and these nude flats which will get tons of wear during the fall and winter months. I’ve also got my eye on the neuLASH – no pun intended. Everyone who uses it raves, not to mention they’ve got lashes for days. The only thing holding me back is the fact that my eyes are super sensitive – even to certain mascaras and creams. Have you used it before?

I’m off to Chicago this afternoon for a long weekend getaway and you….you had better be on your way to enter the blog anniversary giveaway, if you haven’t already!
I love that cross body bag and the fringe booties!
love both dresses and the booties. The parka you got is so pretty.

They’re so soft! (such a weird thing to say about a shoe) haha. Hope you had a great weekend, Emily!
I was seriously considering that parka! Still might have to get it 🙂

Do ittttt!
I love that someone is finally talking about Fall! It’s my favorite season for fashion, and I can’t wait to start dressing for it! Thanks for this great round up!
I’m right there with you!!
I can’t believe we’re already halfway through summer where we’re thinking about fall! But these picks are so cute! I love that parka you picked up. Is it warm enough for a winter coat? I was searching all last year for a mid length coat. Hope you have a great time in Chicago!!
I can’t either! But oddly enough…I’m a little ready. I just want a suuuuper long fall before we get to winter haha. I think so, but mostly because I’m always wearing something heavy underneath. You should give it a go (they do free shipping/returns which always helps me justify trying it on at home haha.) Chicago was so much fun! Can’t wait to catch up in a few weeks 🙂
Great picks – love the fringed boots!
Have a great weekend!

So many good sales!! Of course, I want all the stripes (go figure!)!
Sigh…same here.
Cuteee picks! I just stumbled upon your blog from Grace, and it might be one of my new favorites to follow. I LOVE that you’re from KC – me, too! Well, technically St. Joe, but no one ever knows where that is from 😉 Although, my sister lives in KC, so we’re there a lot. Anyways, I feel like I NEVER find KC bloggers, so I’m so happy I found your site!!
Hi Cori!! I’m so glad you stumbled upon my blog 🙂 Grace is awesome. And I know where St. Joe is…don’t you worry! haha. I hope you had a great weekend – so excited to have you following along!
Such cute picks! Loving all the stripes and those fringe booties.

I have the taller version of these booties and they are so comfortable (not to mention I’m about to use them for a third winter season!) 🙂

Not bad at all 😉 I had such a good time! I already want to come back haha.
So much YES! So ready for fall and all the fun (clothes, weather, activities, baking!) it brings!!
I can’t wait to actually enjoy being outside again! Unless I’m in a body of water, it’s been too hot! haha
