Helloooo, Friday. So happy the weekend is almost here! I’m sure I sound like a bit of a broken record at this point, but how on earth is it already March?! It’s unreal how fast time goes. I felt like I had a really productive week, which was nice, but was feeling a bit meh when it came to inspiration and sharing, especially on Instagram stories. I’m not sure what my deal has been so I took a small step back and am hoping a weekend to refresh will be the cure-all.

I mixed it up with my workouts and took a few classes at Ethos, got myself to spin one day, and then took a rather torturous class at Studio Lagree! I was already sore going into it and the aftermath led me to taking today completely off. I also finally made the time for a Kinstretch class (you can read more about that here) and am determined to make that a priority each week, especially if I want to keep training like I have been.

Last night I got a sneak peek of Charm’d which is an over-the-top St. Patrick’s Day bar in Wrigleyville and caught up with the girls over drinks and a ridiculous amount of food!

I have a meeting with Athleta later this afternoon to start planning an event for March (stay tuned!) and then I’m meeting with a potential freelance client that I’m really excited about. Annnnd if that wasn’t enough to cram into my Friday, I’ll be channeling my inner country girl for Tyler Farr’s show (it’s the Kansas in me 😉 ) right after that. I plan to just go with the flow the rest of the weekend!

• Shopbop’s buy more, save more sale was extended through 3/4! I put together a round-up of my favorite items earlier this week and ohmygod you guys, these leather sneakers are even better than I imagined. I’ll be wearing them until further notice. A few quick tips for browsing the site: I always start by taking a look at the sale section and then search by my favorite designers/brands when shopping!
• I just downloaded the free trial of the Kira Stokes app and can’t wait to try her ab circuit! I would love nothing more than to do an in-person training session with her, but seeing how she is in New York this is the next best thing.
• You all know how much I love astrology. I always check my monthly horoscope through the AstrologyZone app and on refinery29…and then check my love horoscope from The Astro Poets here. You know, gotta cover all my bases ;).
• One of my very favorite spots to grab a bite in the city is at Hub51. Their chicken nachos are too. die. for. They’re just started offering an incredible happy hour deal! $20 for two drinks and a plate of nachos (they’re massive and are by no means meant for one person) – such a good deal!
• I can’t stop talking about the video for the song I linked above. It was directed by Sarah Bahbah who is one of my favorite artists (I just love what she does so much) and I’ve watched it countless times. Go watch!
• I shared a link to this book pictured above in last week’s round-up. Makes for a fun little gift for your girlfriends!
