How was your weekend? And your Monday, for that matter? I have no complaints! I spent time with friends, enjoyed a lazy Saturday in bed, got quite a few things checked off my to do list (although, it seems like each time I cross something off two more things get added), and logged a few miles along the lake. Yesterday didn’t completely do me in, so I’m chalking that up as a win!
With Memorial Day Weekend on the horizon, I’m quickly slipping into the summer state of mind! If you’re not quite there yet, this round-up should do the trick.

Now that I’ve got the general layout of my apartment refresh down, I’m anxious to start filling it with the little things that really give it personality. You know, like pink drinking glasses! My mom is coming to stay with me for the holiday weekend and I’m excited to have her help me put my new bookshelf together (now taking bets on how many bottles of rosé we go through in the process). What’s a new book shelf without a few new additions? You all know I’m a sucker for all things astrology and The Astrology of You and Me recently found its way into my Amazon cart.
I’ve been feeling productive as fuck lately and I’m determined to keep the momentum going. This notepad is just the thing to keep me in check, don’t ya think?
Three of my best girlfriends are flying in to spend the week/end with me for the Fourth of July, my birthday, and a slew of other long overdue celebrations! I’m working on a few surprises for them that I can’t spill on just yet, but you better believe we’ll be whipping up poptails. A new bikini and beach towel will be in order, too! How cute is this striped top and bottom?
I’m on my third tube of this mascara and have been swiping a coat of this lipgloss on before walking out the door each morning!
It’s no secret that I tend to gravitate to all black everything during the winter months, but come spring and summer, I’m all about incorporating lights and brights! For the office: a sweater blazer, suede crossbody bag, and block heels. For the weekend: a tie-front top and pink tennies!
