I feel like there’s so much to tell you all! I’m working on a few special projects with some pretty awesome people and I can’t wait to share them with you. Ideas have been percolating in my subconscious after I fall asleep at night which has resulted in me being wide awake around 4 or 5 in the morning, frantically jotting down notes in my iPhone. I’ve also been doing a good deal of running and these grand ideas have been popping up on the treadmill as well, no pen and paper in sight. Neither of these scenarios are ideal, but it’s better than nothin’. Does this happen to anyone else, or am I really and truly losing my marbs?
Hello Cheeseburger ran a little Facebook giveaway last week and they asked us what we are looking forward to in 2014. I thought about it and this year is going to be all about “firsts” for me. I’ll be attending my first blogging conference, Go Blog Social, running my first half marathon and going to KCFW for the first time in March. Pete and I have a few other things up our sleeves in the way of personal life, but I don’t want to jinx them. There’s a lot to look forward to and to say I’m excited would be a drastic understatement.
Switching gears a little, I’ve been toying with the idea of migrating from Blogger to WordPress. After reading this article, I think that it will give me the freedom that I’m looking for. I’m nervous because I finally feel like I have the “hang” of Blogger, but then again, I’m limited when it comes to design/layout and “extras.” Have any of you gone through this process before? Success stories? Horror stories?

I use wordpress and I love it. I have yet to come across any issues with it.
