When I mentioned starting a book club to you all on my list of 23 by 28 several of you expressed interest which really excited me! Sarah from The Kissing Booth reached out to me and asked if I would like to partner up and get one going. Since we’re spread out all over the country the only logical way to make this happen would be to create a virtual book club. Sarah’s vision is to center the reads and discussions around information that will help us grow and develop our skills as bloggers.
You probably know the drill: we pick a book, read it and enjoy a fulfilling discussion whilst drinking an adult beverage and noshing on our favorite salty snacks. Sounds like a good time, right?
Below are some key things to know:
First read: #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso (you know, the edgy gal behind Nasty Gal). Prepare to tap into your inner badass and experience inspiration overload.
First meet up: We will be hosting a Google Hangout on Monday, August 25th at 7:30 p.m. CST. Like I said, even though this is virtual, wine and cheese plates are encouraged.
We will be linking up on social media using #BookClubBlogger
