You will notice that volume in the title of this post is now abbreviated correctly! I can’t believe it took me so long to realize the mistake I had been making (for 11 weeks, mind you). Thankfully all is right in the world now.
Do you ever feel like you need to travel somewhere? Up and leave spontaneously? I don’t know if it’s all the jet-setters I follow or what, but I’ve felt an overwhelming longing to get away this past week and it’s lingering.
Moving right along. I’ve rounded up a whole slew of links for you to peruse. Read them now or save them for a Sunday afternoon – do with them as you please, but most of all…enjoy!
- I was fascinated watching this video of colorblind people experiencing color for the first time. Can you imagine seeing the colors of the sunset after a lifetime of seeing it in shades of gray?
- Loren Hope’s newest additions are dreamy. I seriously can’t stop ogling it. Go on, see for yourself!
- Why You Need a Side Hustle (via Felicia). This week was hard, there is no doubt about that, but I’m thankful to have this side hustle to lean on.
- This bamboo accent table arrived on our doorstep and I was thrilled to find out that is was a decent height for a bar cart. Only problem, I set up all our glassware on it and space is limited (e.g. no room for booze). Having a lower glass shelf would do wonders when it comes to party throwing. Not to mention the fact that I still have my heart set on one I saw on Etsy last year. If only it had a brother or sister somewhere needing a new home. To keep or not to keep?
- I listened to one of my favorite episodes of The Lively Show, featuring Danielle Moss of The Everygirl, again on Wednesday. If you’re struggling with where you’re at right now or need an extra boost of motivation to try something out of your comfort zone, give it a listen. Also, who’s excited for Season 2 to start next weekend?! I know this girl is.
- Hallie’s Trina Turk look makes me want to ditch my neutrals and wear all the colors in this spring ensemble.
- Kansas Cititians, specifically those of you who live on the Missouri side, Madewell is coming to the Country Club Plaza! No more driving 30 minutes when you need to refresh your basics. Seriously, I drove that far to pick up this tee after discovering a hole in my old standby.
- Speaking of new additions to The Plaza, Coveted Home will be settling into their new home there this May! They are going to be dangerously close and I. can’t. wait.
- Cait has some great tips on spring race training!
- I’ve been on Snapchat, but I’ve upgraded in a sense. I’m no longer just sharing unflattering selfies with my best friends (those are still happening for a select few recipients). I need a good trip! I was in KC/STL last weekend and and back in KC again this weekend for a bachelorette party but I’m thinking I need to visit family in Florida soon.
