Happy happy Tuesday! It feels really good to be back in this space donning a sunny disposition after the last time I wrote here.

And I just want to say thank you for the outpouring of love and all the heartfelt messages you sent my way. I feel really lucky and don’t take your support for me in all aspects of my life (both online and off) for granted. So thank you for that.

I know people are always like, “talking about the weather is bOrInG~*” but guys, it’s been SO beautiful here in Chicago lately and it has put a literal pep in my step. One that I so desperately needed, I might add. It’s going to be in the 70s today! Might be a little premature, but it feels like spring is here to stay. I plan to spend every waking minute outside soaking it up.

Last summer my friends Maya, Katie, Megan, and I formed the “Lincoln Park Ladies Tennis Club” and met up on Sunday mornings to volley the ball around. Katie had the cutest sweatshirts made for us at Christmas and I just love it so much! This Beverly Hills Tennis Club pullover is similar in style and perfect for spring. A Round-up of Tennis Inspired Looks

I met Maya and some others for our first tennis outing of the year this past Sunday. And it felt so good to be moving outside again, despite having some work to do on the court.

I figure if anything, I can look the part. And you can, too, with this little round-up of tennis inspired looks!

I love a skort and can’t say enough good things about the Athleta skort I got last season. I was happy to see they brought it back in an ever-so-slightly different style this year! I’m debating getting it in white or trying this white tennis skort, the Nike version, or splurging on this pleated tennis skort.

Much like weights and bikes, tennis rackets were hard to come by in 2020. I finally ordered this tennis racket at the end of summer and was able to take it out a few times. But I’m definitely looking forward to putting it to good use this year! It’s only $12 and given that I don’t have the slightest clue what makes a tennis racket “good,” the price was right. It seems to be a good option for beginners like me!

I really like my Girlfriend workout tights and just ordered their workout skort. And the matching sports bra in this fun color! As someone who sweats in all mostly all black, this was a big step for me. But again….I’m feeling cheerful!

I have a pair of the Tory Sport tights and they’ve held up really well over the last few years. I think this colorblock sports bra and legging set is a great for just about any workout and the colors…definitely gravitating toward more of that right now.

At the risk of sounding dramatic, the typical neon tennis balls don’t do much for me.

I found these white tennis balls while perusing and ya, they might be made for dogs, but that’s just a minor detail *adds to cart.*

I live for a cheeky pair of crew socks and these Win Some, Lose Some Socks are made by the same brand that makes my Busy Doin’ Nothing socks. So much fun to wear and a great conversation starter 😉

I have two pairs of the APL wave sneakers and think you’d be hard-pressed to find something lighter and more comfortable. They’re labeled a running shoe, but I wear them for everything (even my training sessions at Ethos). They come in every color under the sun!

I’m very into the belt bag trend and added this navy crossbody belt bag to my cart while indulging in a little retail therapy. I think it will be perfect for bike rides, long walks, and all the other outdoorsy things!

If you’re looking for something bigger, this Calpak duffel bag would also double for a good weekender bag!

I’m prone to burning, so I’m always layering on the SPF 50. My go-tos are the Unseen Sunscreen for my Face and the Sun Bum body sunscreen, which I discovered last year and have sine gone through more bottles than I can count.
