The summer solstice and Cancer season. Sunshine and tan lines. Late nights and early mornings. Taking things moment by moment and fighting the fleeting feelings.
The revival of my bucket lists brings an opportunity to relish in this season knowing full well it will be over in a blink.
With a long-awaited reunion (and one i will cherish forever) with one of my closest friend’s behind me and a visit from my best friend from college on the horizon, I knew I wanted this to be a simple summer bucket list. One that allows the season to simmer slow, just how it’s intended.
I especially want to savor all the little things that got me through so much unknown last year. I really like this list and I hope something speaks to you and that you fill your days with all the things that matter most!
Take a sunrise sail
Picnic in the park
Farmers Market mornings
Swim in the lake
Golf with my girlfriends
Watch the fireworks light up the sky over Lake Michigan
Enjoy an outdoor movie night on the projector
Leisurely lay by the pool with a good book and nowhere to be
All the long morning walks for coffee
And bike rides along the lake
Eat an ice cream cone on a sunny day
Practice playing tennis
Lots of rooftop and patio hangs with friends
Sip wine and get sentimental
Spend the steamy summer nights laughing, singing, dancing, and delighting in the moments that remind me I am lucky to be alive ✨
How are you spending your summer? I would love to hear about it!
