Easy Pieces to Wear for Fall

Hello and happy Friday! Sharing a little round-up of easy pieces to wear for fall in hopes that you find some inspiration when you’re getting dressed in the coming weeks and on into the winter season 🙂

It’s been a busy week over here and my meetings schedule has been heavier than usual and I’ve felt a little rushed in my days.

Last night I had the opportunity to attend an immersive event at the Waldorf Astoria to celebrate the opening of their three new dining destinations: Peacock Lounge, Brass Tack, and the return of the renown and iconic Bernard’s. The theme was so well-done. The welcome scene was giving Alice & Wonder vibes–complete with crinoline and corset-clad women and chocolate mousse in tiny teacups! Highly recommend making it a point to check out the new spaces, especially as we’ll be moving indoors here soon.

I’m looking forward to some downtime over the weekend to recharge my battery and hope you can do the same!

FROM FALL HANGS TO FRIENDSGIVING

Nothing better than when you can slip on something like this rib knit dress and be ready to go. I’ve owned dresses from French Connection before and can speak to the quality. And the price point is great, in my opinion. You can also shop it here.

My Alex Mill Sherpa from last year is still one of my very favorite things to wear! It doesn’t look like they brought it back in this color this season, but it comes in a natural cream. Also love this J. Crew sherpa and the button details on the front!

I’m all about shopping my closet and I really try to only add items that I know won’t be one-and-done. I think Amazon gets a bad rap, especially when you see influencers buying hauls just to do try-ons and then return everything after. If done right, there are some worthwhile gems worth shopping.

I bought this big button sweater in both the black and the grey back in early 2020 and pulled out just last night for another round. You really can’t beat the price and I find that as long as you take proper care, you can get great mileage out of items like this. I just make sure to them wash on cold, lay flat to dry, and occasionally use this fabric shaver on any pilling! See them both on me in this post. And this sweater and this one both have great reviews!

I love a plaid skirt paired with a pullover sweater. Very select sizing on the skirt here and here, but always check back for restocks.

I can’t stop thinking about these waterproof lug sole boots in this gorgeous dark-brown tone. They would be a big investment for me but knowing how many seasons I’ve had my Stuart Weitzman boots I know I’d have them for years to come.

When I’m pressed for time or just want to look pulled together with minimal effort, I add a plaid blazer and call it good. Shop a similar style here.

Madewell is another place I shop for sweaters like this cozy one (love the deep forest and camel). This mock neck sweater is a super similar style to the one I picked up at Anthropologie last year and can’t wait to wear again. Also added these skinny joggers to my cart for WFH days.

Two things I am constantly wearing and sharing: my AGOLDE Riley high rise straight jeans and my favorite shearling boots (come in several different colors). I’ve yet to find a better fit for either. If you follow along on my IG stories, I had shared a leather Chelsea boot a few weeks ago and ended up returning them as the sizing and fit was just really off for me.

If you’re looking for some athleisure wear, I have a black pair of the Girlfriend high rise compressive leggings (they come in a full range of sizes from XXS to 6XL) and offer up lots of fall tones, too. They also have a cropped version if length is an issue for you!

Lastly, Kiehl’s extended their BOGO free sale on some of their best sellers–this hand cream is a must for me in the winter!

Do you have any upcoming plans for fall? Always love hearing from you down in the comments!
