Home Gift Ideas for the Holidays

Since we’re all going to be spending far more time inside and at home this winter, I wanted to round-up some of my favorite home gift ideas and a few items on my wishlist that would make anyone you’re shopping for feel extra cared for. Or you know, yourself. 😉

Home Gift Ideas for the Holidays

Below are 24 home gift ideas that make staying in extra cozy and/or convenient!

These are by far the best glass drinking straws and easily one of my favorite purchases this year!

My friend Allie introduced me to them when I was over at her place this summer and I ordered them right then and there. I’ve never been able to do metal straws (so gross to me), but these are just perfect.

If you’re on the hunt for holiday gifts that spark a festive feel, this Christmas Tree candle fills the whole room with fir needle, cedarwood, pine, & notes of balsam and I can’t get enough.

I imagine I’ll be picking up another here soon. How cute are these Christmas drinking glasses and fox ornaments?! I love a good list and this “Sweet Baby Jesus” notepad was made for me. (From the same design studio as my “Probably Not Today” notepad.) They were kind enough to give me a discount code for you to use on your purchase! Use code JESS15 for 15% off from now through 11/30. And know that you’re supporting a small, woman-owned business this season!

Seems like everyone has tried their hand at #quarantinebaking this year and I imagine that’s going to pick back up again now that it’s turning cold. A set of monogrammed recipe cards and mini loaf pans are a great gifting pair. And if you’re looking to put together special deliveries for your friends, family, service workers, etc. during the holidays this year, packaging up a freshly baked mini loaf and attaching a recipe card is a cute idea!

If you or the person you’re shopping for lives alone, a game might not be the best choice for obvious reasons. But I love a good night in with Cards Against Humanity or Bananagrams. And as someone who leans heavily into their vulnerable side, I love the idea of The Confessions Game! No game night is complete without a bottle of wine, at least in my house. A subscription wine delivery service is the gift that keeps on giving. You can use my Winc wine discount code on a subscription and get 4 bottles of wine for $39 and free delivery! The Folly of the Beast Pinot Noir is my personal favorite.

These gorgeous cocktail glasses are high on my wish list!

Looking forward to continuing the cocktail making in the coming months.

A wood stump serving platter is super versatile and brings a little of the outdoors inside without the mess. A set of these would make for a great place setting base when setting the table for dinner. Add a few candles for an outdoorsy look in your living space/gifting duo. Or it can be used as a serving tray for a dish on the dining table or your morning coffee a banana bread.

I’ve been trying my best to support my local coffee shops in Chicago, but I would love to have an espresso machine with a built in frother. If you or the person you’re shopping for already has something like a Nespresso and just needs a milk frother, I’ve heard this one is a really great option! And you can’t go wrong with a hunter green yeti to keep drinks hot!

Boy Smells makes some of my absolute favorite candles and their Kush line is too die for.

This trio set would be a great gift on its own or you could split up the candles and pair them with something else to make a few separate gifts!

I was gifted two of these wireless charging pads and it’s nice having one on my bedroom windowsill and on my dining table/desk 🤓. I like not having to fuss with bringing my old school charger from room to room or reaching for the cord. Truly the little things. It also comes in pink here!

Also on my wish list, an iPhone stand.

I always let my hair air dry when I can. And honestly, I don’t know that i’ve used my blow dryer more than twice this year. But with it getting colder, i don’t like my hair being wet for too long! The remedy is this fast drying hair towel.

A fun idea for the foodie:

A bottle of Mike’s Hot Honey, which is great on everything from biscuits to chicken to pizza. And how cute are these mini jars?! Perfect stocking stuffers or add-ons!

Once I tried the percale sheets from Parachute I never went back to anything else. I tend to get overheated in my sleep and despise waking up hot. But these sheets are woven to create airflow to prevent that. And I really can tell a difference compared to my older sheet styles. I also have their linen duvet cover and the same can be said for that!

I go through a Brita pitcher full of water a day (filling it up is part of my nightly routine!). So if you or someone you know could use a little help with hydration I like this option.

If you’re still stuck on ideas, the Shopbop home section is a good resource and full of things like these chic salad servers.
