I would be lying if I said I haven’t done this. Just a few weeks ago I spent the night with my best friend from high school. She’s married, has a child and she’s working her way through dental hygiene school. After a night of drinks we agreed that the feeling we both had was a direct result of our age. The “we just can’t hang like we use to” phenomenon was in full effect.
Obviously we are getting older. But I don’t necessarily find that to be a bad thing. When I look back on my life and compare where I was to where I am now, one thing is certain: the years just keep getting better.
Maybe someday when I’m nearing 40 I can look back on this post and remind myself that everything is going to be alright and repeat that cheesy saying, “the best is yet to come.”
p/s I’m working on redesigning my site, bear with me! I’m teaching myself some stuff as I go (hilarious, I know) and other things I am enlisting some help. So for now, you get to see the changes happening in real-time.
Yes, your mother was waiting impatiently for the weekly update. 😉 I like to read what you are thinking about, it’s always interesting. And, as for your “getting old”, you are right, you aren’t there. I will hit 47, in three months and eight days, and I don’t feel old (most days. I would however like it to slow its pace just a tad.

I won’t let it happen again 🙂
LOL, I was just excited it was Monday for once! It makes the day a good one to get to read this, so I got over anxious. 😉
