Happy Saturday! And happy long weekend!! We needed this, didn’t we?! I feel like spring has been all over the place. Do you have big plans for the next few days?I laid low last night and got a few things wrapped up on my to-do list and then got down and dirty…deep cleaning my bathroom (riveting Friday night, let me tell ya). I got a nice little nap in before that though. I’m trying to get ahead on sponsored content deadlines (I’m working with Hinge on a series of Instagram posts and have truly never been more excited about a partnership. I love talking dating with you guys!) and I’m doing the same with freelance work so I can check out as much as possible next week/end when my girlfriends get here!
I’m off to Ethos this morning for a Saturday sweat and then I’ve got a brow appointment later this afternoon and a much needed haircut and gloss after that! Not planning to go as short as I did this time last year, but definitely need to say goodbye to a few inches and am more than ready to feel like a new woman when all is said and done. Hoping the weather holds out for the rest of the weekend because I’d love nothing more than to enjoy margaritas on a patio somewhere! Also wanting to spend time on my yoga mat in between all of that. I’ve been making that more of priority over the last few weeks and I’ve never felt better.
I hope you enjoy what I’ve rounded up for you!

LINKS I’VE LOVED LATELY:
- Boden sent me this striped midi dress and these navy tie heels (both 30% off with code C7R2!), which I wore with my white Staud handbag to the launch of Mezzo Spritz at Beatnik on the River last Sunday (the invite called for stripes!). Seriously such a fun outfit to wear.
- Boden also sent me the Primrose heels I’m wearing above in fawn rose and they’re beautiful! (Also 30% off with code C7R2!). I’m not the type to wear anything that makes me even the slightest bit uncomfortable and could wear these all day with no problems.
- Two things: Mezzo Spritz is great mixed with gin and I was really relieved to see that you’re into the less than perfect Instagram shots. Photography isn’t my strong suit, but this in the moment type thing has me feeling inspired to Instagram again.
- I got a few questions about my clothes steamer after I posted to my Instagram stories and am so happy to hear several of you have since purchased it because it’s great! My grandma gave it to me for graduation years ago and while it’s nothing fancy, it heats up fast and takes out wrinkles in two minutes.
- I need to switch up the foundation I’m using and so many of you recommended IT Cosmetics CC Cream!
- Reading this gave me goosebumps. “I think that it’s the big, irrational choices we make in life where we find ourselves. It’s like you have to get in over your head to see how tall you are.” Woah.
- My friend Lauren has the most incredible work ethic and I loved reading more about the path that led her to blogging full-time.
- I don’t think it’s any big secret that Instagram has been a pain point for many lately, but there are people on the platform creating really cool things, you just have to find them (and not be afraid to unfollow or mute anyone no longer serving you). No one does sponsored content quite like Jenn. Isn’t this so cool?! 🙂
- If you’re going to be attending any weddings this summer (or any event calling for you to get dressed up, really), the colors in this tiered maxi dress are gorgeous!
- I love the fit of this workout top from Target and it’s only $15. I actually have several sports bras and two skorts from the Champion line that are well over 7 years old that I still wear regularly! Workout wear doesn’t have to be crazy expensive and if you take good care of it (wash on cold and hang dry!), it will last a lot longer.
- I made a huge update to my 101 in 1001 list (said to hell with some things all together and replaced them with new goals, experiences, etc.)
- A round-up of fun starters, just add friends!
- I have a sweater tank from J. Crew that I bought a few years ago and still wear it all the time. While they don’t carry it anymore, I stumbled across this version from Anthropologie that is super similar!
- Memorial Day Weekend Sales that are not to be missed: Serena & Lily – 20% off with code SUMMERPREP, J. Crew – 40% off with code SHOP30, Madewell – 20% off with code PERFECTMATCH, and Dermstore – up to 20% off with code SUMMER.

Alright, that’s all I have for now! Whatever you’re up to this weekend, I hope it’s the absolute best! I’ll be sharing in real-time over on Instagram stories, so be sure to follow along there.
My most pressing question “How to steam your dresses?” after unpacking the remainder of my summer wardrobe from storage. The dresses are not fancy. I have two steamers and sadly no luck getting out the wrinkles. I will search you tube for a video tutorial. But feel free to send help/suggestions anytime. I really do wonder how one keeps their clothes presentable. Even my workout tops look like a crumbled up piece of paper.
Hi! I’m so sorry I’m just now seeing this. I can’t recommend the steamer I have enough! It couldn’t be easier to use. Simply fill with water, turn it on, let it heat up, and then hold a few inches away from the piece of clothing moving it up and down until the wrinkles are out. I hope you have some success! As for the wrinkled workout wear, do you dry them? I hang dry nearly everything and that really helps…and it also makes my clothing last longer as the heat from the dryer breaks down the fibers. 🙂
