Whew, the day we’ve all been working towards is here, F R I D A Y! How was your week?

I pulled over to the side of the road to snap a quick pic of these tulips on my way home yesterday. Crazy? Judging from the looks being thrown in my direction from the busy intersection, I would say probably. You do what you gotta do.

• A congrats is in order for my blog wife who is celebrating 3 years of Eat it Kansas City! I can’t wait to pop the champagne to celebrate next weekend!
• My new favorite Instagram account: @penguinthemagpie. Consider my heart melted.
• Speaking of Instagram, Lindsay Ellingson‘s 15-second makeup tutorials are too cool. Her new product line, Wander Beauty, launches on the 13th and it’s been said that she created products that suit a lifestyle on-the-go. Hello, just my style.
• Annie ran her first 10k – woo! I think a destination race is in order next time around.
• Swooning over these flats. There is nothing wrong with the cheapies I pick up each time a new season rolls around, but it wouldn’t hurt to invest in something that will last me for years and years (not to mention the extra support for my aching feet – see below).
• The Well’s “Word of The Month” is balance and I’m looking forward to what the gals have up their sleeve for us.
• 8 days until I’m doing this again. Saturday’s 10-miler is going to be a true test of my readiness. #shakininmyboots
• I picked up this dress in black with the intention of wearing it with just about everything I own this spring/summer. I highly suggest you do the same!
• A great read on feedback/constructive criticism and how to handle it. I pay very close attention to what Felicia writes and shares. A simple tweet of hers has made me take a step back and reevaluate how I’m doing things. If one person is saying it, you can count on the fact that there others are thinking it.
• Influential Gal launched at the beginning of the week and there are a slew of giveaways going on – hop to it!
• If you’re just now tuning in this week, don’t miss the beauty products that have recently been added to my arsenal or my little black dress moment.
