Spring Break Dreamin’

Happy happy Wednesday, everyone! And happy International Women’s Day! Today is a day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievement of women. It’s also a great day to tell the women who have shaped you into the person you are today just how much they mean to you. spring break packing listYou guys inspire me in unique ways each and every day and I’m incredibly thankful for the community and conversation we have here and across social media! If this post serves as anything, I hope it’s a reminder that it’s okay to care about the frilly, girly things in life like a ruffled dress that makes you feel like a million bucks or a killer pair of shoes and still be bold in your beliefs surrounding politics, your rights, and the many issues happening around the globe. There’s no shame in wanting to look good while doing it, ladies!

With that being said, I’m doing a complete 180 from this moody color palette I shared the week before last. It seems as though I’m still crushing on the 2016 Pantone colors of the year and lucky for me, my favorite brands and retailers are too! I’m not heading anywhere warm until I make my way down to Miami and St. Simons Island at the end of April (a little belated adult spring break, if you will), but that doesn’t mean I’m not already thinking about what to fill my suitcase with.

I love the color of this panama hat and it’s less than $25 (hello, no brainer) and this little pink crossbody bag is under $30 and looks a whole lot like this Loeffler Randall bag I’ve been swooning over, sans tassel of course. It’s safe to say these pink sneakers speak for themselves.

This maxi dress, these espadrilles, and this rattan clutch paired together could easily transition from day to night. I love that this little white dress gives the off the off-the-shoulder vibe, but still has the straps so you aren’t worrying about the sleeves riding up – pair it with these neon tassel earrings and this straw tote!

I gushed about this striped dress here and here and now I’m just counting down the days until it’s warm enough to wear it! I channeled my gymnastics days and tried on this bodysuit at J. Crew recently and loved the smooth, tucked in look, especially with white denim! How do we feel about reverting back to our younger years?
