St. Simons Island Packing List

Happy Wednesday, and a happy little round-up of bright, sunshine-inspired things to match!
What to pack for the beachIf I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times. I’m beyond excited to be heading down to Miami and then on to St. Simons Island next week – it will be my first time visiting Georgia! I’m flying into Miami on Thursday morning and will be staying with my high school friend Jetter. We plan to celebrate her birthday with some fun in the sun that first day and then we’re going to make the drive to her family’s beach house on St. Simons Island to continue the celebrations through the weekend!

Naturally, I’ve already been thinking about what I want to pack. Everything in this round-up makes me…happy. Pom shorts, a dainty anklet, a canary yellow striped clutch, a red-hot off-the-shoulder top – check, check, check, and….check!

I was in desperate need of new luggage (as in, I don’t currently own any) and finally pulled the trigger on this set from Mark & Graham. The carry-on is on backorder, but I’ll have this checked spinner just in time for my flight out.

I picked up these lace up espadrilles and these sandals last season and I’m excited to break them out again!

Further proof that Madewell can do no wrong lately: these ankle wrap sandals. Just add a few coats of Essie’s gel polish in “Flashed” and you’re set!

SheIn sent me this bell-sleeved dress and this blue striped bow dress and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality considering they’re both under $20. While we’re on the topic of good deals, I shared these Celiné look-alike sunglasses last Friday and they’re quickly becoming my new favorite to grab as I run out the door!

Several of the items in this round-up are from Shopbop and from now until midnight on Friday you can get 20% off your order when you use code EVENT17! And if you spend over $500 you can get 25% off. Shopbop also offers free shipping and free returns (read: order multiple sizes guilt-free if you’re unsure of anything). Things sell out fast so the sooner you place your order, the better.
If you’re looking for something in particular, I suggest searching by designer and narrowing it down from there. Don’t be afraid to use the search bar either! It’s something I often overlook, but it can really come in handy when navigating a site with as many products to offer as Shopbop.

I’ll be packing up a few of my favorites from this round-up, too! It also shouldn’t go unmentioned that you can’t go wrong with anything from the SunnyLife shop (especially if you’re planning a beach trip of your own), but there’s only so much room in my suitcase. 😉 Remember when I packed an full-sized floatie for my trip to Miami Beach? Not doing that again.

Happy shopping, friends!
