Fresh Finds and a Few Favorites

For those of you who follow along on Instagram stories and voted that you’d rather read the weekly rounds post that went up on Saturday on Monday instead, you can do that now. 😉 Lots of fun things to peruse and listen to there!easy spring outfit ideas under $100This weekend was really, really good. I took it pretty easy on Friday night and then went to an early morning workout class at Ethos with my friend Liz on Saturday. Saturdays are team-based at the gym and they always end up feeling like less work and more play! Afterward, we caught up over breakfast burritos at Foxtrot (if you haven’t tried them yet, you must!) and then went our separate ways for the afternoon before meeting back up for dinner and drinks at Homeslice. So ready for them to pull back the top on the patio!

I didn’t sleep the greatest that night and was up at the crack of dawn Sunday so instead of tossing and turning I started my day earlier than I would have liked. The weather was PERFECTION though, so that more than made up for it. I’d go so far to say that it was one of the best days I’ve had here. I went on a 3 mile run along the lakefront and then walked alllll over the city running errands (got slightly sunburnt during the process – my poor skin in so sensitive). I rewarded myself with a beer on my fire escape and then made the last-minute decision to walk two more miles to Sweet Mandy B’s for a cookie before they closed early. That turned into a sprint, but it was worth it. 😉

This week is going to be busy, busy! I’ve got two evening events, two coffee dates, a lunch date, a doctors appointment, and I’m planning to keep up the momentum with my workouts like I did last week. I can’t believe we are nearing the end of April!

Most of the items I included in this round-up are under $100 and those of which aren’t already a part of my wardrobe would be more than welcome in my closet!

I’m really into the clear bag trend (I love my Staud bag!) and started seeing this super chic clear Chanel bag popping up all of my Instagram feed. If Chanel is champagne, I’m definitely on a beer budget, so I set out to find something similar and came across this clear crossbody bag! I love the longer strap, as it’s my favorite style to carry, and the striped strap adds a little something extra (it comes with an interchangeable white strap, too and will probably use that one the most).

This striped maxi dress is so, so pretty! And it’s on sale for $76 right now. You have to click all the way through to checkout to see that price.

I have these jeans from Madewell and they’re the perfect pair of relaxed fit jeans in a great wash for spring/summer.

I don’t look the greatest in red, so I don’t own anything in the color, but a little pop of the color on my feet would work!

I desperately need a few pairs of shoes that I can slip on and go and these black slides and this spin on the espadrille are both super versatile and affordable! I’m pretty hard on my sandals and had to say goodbye to two of my favorites after wearing them into the ground.

I haven’t worn platforms in years and am going to try out this pair from Soludos. I love all of their shoes have owned tons of different styles from them over the years.

I have this striped top in navy and white (it comes in a ton of different colors!) and these are such spring-y colors. Think I might need it, too.

This dress is the same print as the top I shared in this round-up and would look cute with a pair of heeled sandals or leather sneakers.

I feel like this dress has me written all over it. It’s definitely not under $100, but I couldn’t resist including it here. It could be worn for so many different occasions!

I saw these ankle tie heels on a few of my favorite bloggers over the weekend and it’s safe to say I’ve been #influenced.

This black puff sleeve top from Something Navy offers a little something different and I love the way they have it styled on the site with the skirt!

A little random, but my favorite bikini top was *finally* restocked in all sizes! It’s ridiculously flattering on, but it runs super small. I’m not working with much up top and took a medium in it. I can’t wait to wear it this summer (and when Tish and I cruise up and down the lakefront!).

I got a few questions about my sunglasses after walking around in them yesterday and wanted to include them here. They’re just the classic aviators from Ray-Ban! Surprisingly enough, I’ve had them for years and they’re really the only ones I wear (besides from my black pair).

I hope you all have the best Monday!
