Gift Ideas for the Mind, Body, & Soul

gift ideas for the mind, body, and soul

Thank you all so much for the messages about my gift ideas for creating routines post – reading them truly made my week!

I’m equally as excited about sharing this round up of gift ideas for the mind, body, and soul. They’re meant to encourage you to slow down, tune in to your needs, and delight in the little things.

I love all these so much as they contribute to an overall sense of peace and I can attest as I own and use a lot of them. And some seen here *might* be on their way to me now as I couldn’t resist the sales that have started. Of course, there are still a few items that remain on my wishlist.

GIFT IDEAS FOR THE SPIRITUAL SIDE

Intentional calendar – I couldn’t order this fast enough! I’ve really leaned into intention setting this year and can’t wait to use this as a guide for the months ahead.

Evil eye necklace – Monica Vinader makes some of my favorite jewelry. You might remember the bracelet I have from this post last year. I’ve worn it for years and it’s such a classic piece. They offer complimentary engraving, which makes for a really unique gift! I got the Cancer symbol etched on the clasp of my bracelet. I thought this evil eye was another great piece of jewelry that no one else will have.

Shimmer star and moon chain earrings – These dainty celestial earrings are perfect for holiday parties or the person who delights in the moon and the stars. They’re also 30% off at Madewell right now!

Astrology sign necklace – Fully embracing my __________ tendencies (insert astrological sign here). I’m a Cancer! What about you?! 💫

Tarot cards (also here!) – Whether you’re looking for something to add to your routine or want to change it up at your next get-together with friends, tarot card readings always keep things interesting get people talking/thinking!

Diptyque carousel – I visited the Diptyque candle store in Wicker Park for a press event a few years ago and saw the carousels in person and they are beautiful. I think this 3-piece set is the best (also sold here!), and there is this candle carousel option, and the baies candle carousel, too! These always sell out every year and then (to my knowledge) they don’t bring them back out until the holiday season, so I tried to link to several retailers and will update if I come across any others carrying them!

Boy Smells holiday set – I’m obsessed with everything Boy Smells does and these holiday scents are SO good. I’m a sucker for a good mini candle gift set, because then you get a little bit of everything, and this packaging gets five gold stars from me. You can’t go wrong with any of the full size versions, either! Shop them here, here, and here.

Match holder – I’m of the belief that you can never have too many fun matchboxes, but I also don’t like using the ones I’ve picked up while out at restaurants and stores…I just like to look at them lol. I light a candle every day and this match holder brings a little something special to a simple daily thing.

GIFT IDEAS FOR PEACE OF MIND

Create Your Own Calm journal – I have two copies of the Start Where You Are journal and have gifted it to several friends over the years. The prompts are light, making it easy to write. I was excited to see Meera created a new version as i’m all about trying to stay calm. Great for just about anyone on your list – yourself included!

Anti-anxiety notebook – Another great journal option. This one is more structured and less (flavorful?), but I own it and it’s been a great helper for me as I work through life. And in between each journaling section, there are articles to read up on things like breath, sleep, relationships, etc. how they play into our anxiety. It’s all such great information to think about and help you process. I can’t recommend this tool enough!

Moleskin notebook – For writing, brainstorming, planning, whatever! I’m a big fan of brain dumping or writing with abandon (and without judgement). The pages are empty, so it’s really yours to do with it as you please. They come in all different sizes, so just be aware of that when ordering. The notebooks I use are from Target but they aren’t sold online anymore and they don’t have a brand or name so I can’t even direct you to search for them elsewhere. I feel bad because i get asked about them a lot when I share to my Instagram stories. If they ever reappear, you’ll be the first to know!

Tie dye yoga top – The colors on this top are too good! Fingers crossed Santa pulls through.

Positivity Please coffee mug – Your coffee can come with a good morning reminder, if you’d like.

Gaiam yoga mat – This is my at-home yoga mat as it’s pretty substantial and the thought of carrying it anywhere I might need it sounds like a lot. But is by far the best because it provides such a cushion, wipes clean really easily, and has held up so well overall. Worth every penny + 20% off right now!

Yoga block – Give the gift of heart openers. I love laying on my yoga block to wind down in the evening or take a midday break to do breathing exercises.

Insight Timer App – This free app is great for all things sleep, stress, and anxiety. There is a paid option that opens up more features in the app. I have my-go 10-minute sleep meditation I try and do most nights and it’s really calming and puts my mind at ease and helps to turn off my brain. A great (virtual) gift that keeps on giving!

Like I mentioned above, this is my guide full of gift ideas for creating routines and these pieces that will wear well into winter, especially now that things are on sale!
